Working on my son's truck after an "expert" engine rebuild by someone who won't see me again. Tried to figure out why it shakes so much. There were lots of reasons but one that surprised me was when we re-checked the spark plug gaps the center electrode moved .020-.030". I thought I was seeing things so we pulled all 8 and 5 of them had this problem. Everything looks good on the outside so I can only guess that someone dropped the package flat and that somehow broke only the electrode and not the ceramic. Strange!
After a new set it runs better, no more miss.
